Grant Thornton in Norway was founded in 1987. We have 8 partners and are a highly respected and competitive provider of audit, tax and advisory services in Norway, serving a variety of clients ranging from traditional smaller and medium-sized businesses to listed Norwegian corporations with international operations and foreign corporations with subsidiaries or operations in Norway.

Grant Thornton has offices in Oslo, Tønsberg, Horten and Trondheim. These offices provide comprehensive assurance, accounting and taxation services, in addition to corporate, business risk and investigation services. Grant Thornton Law provides specialisttaxation services and related legal services, including company, contract and employment law. We serve clients throughout Norway.

The accounting and auditing profession is very well developed and governed in Norway and we follow international standards on all assignments. Approximately half of our professionals are qualified accountants and we have low staff turnover. Professional development is assured through internal and external training seminars and courses, including those organised by Grant Thornton International.
